Scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, this free event takes place at the Parkside Middle School Track in Jackson, MI, offering a supportive and exciting environment for children aged 5 to 14. The one-mile course is designed with young runners in mind, beginning and ending on the Parkside Middle School Track. Participants will tackle the first quarter-mile on the track, then venture onto school grounds for a loop before returning to the track for a final exhilarating quarter-mile sprint to the finish line. Parents are encouraged to run alongside their children, and members of the Grow Jackson Organization will be stationed along the route to provide enthusiastic encouragement. While no aid stations with refreshments are provided on course or post-race, runners should bring their own water to stay hydrated.
