This impactful 5K event starts and finishes at the Rocky Mount Church of God, located at 1360 North Main Street, and is dedicated to honoring the vibrant spirit of Miracle Hope Flint, who courageously navigated life with significant medical challenges before her passing in 2019. Now in its fourth year, the race celebrates what would have been Miracle Hope's 17th birthday and serves as a vital fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Healing Strides of Virginia, an equine therapeutic riding academy that provided profound physical and mental health support to Miracle.

Runners and walkers will journey through the scenic streets of Rocky Mount, experiencing a course designed for all ages and abilities. Typical race day conditions in May offer pleasant weather, with highs around 75°F and lows around 50°F, and only a 19% chance of precipitation, creating an ideal setting for a memorable event. This gathering is more than just a race; it's a celebration of community, courage, and unconditional love, fostering an atmosphere of support for families with special needs children.

Participants can look forward to a well-organized event featuring an expanded awards ceremony, recognizing the top three male and female overall finishers with trophies, along with Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) categories.
