Mission 5K

Get ready to lace up for a race with heart as the Mission 5K returns to Clemmons, NC, on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This revived event offers both a chip-timed 5K run and a 1-mile fun run, catering to all ages and fitness levels. Originally held in downtown Winston-Salem from 2011 to 2018, this beloved race is now making its exciting comeback in the vibrant Clemmons community. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with comfortable highs around 74°F and lows around 52°F, alongside a low 13% chance of precipitation.

The Mission 5K promises a fast and flat course, entirely closed to vehicular traffic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Adding to its unique atmosphere, the course features uplifting Christian scripture and music from WBFJ along the route to motivate every stride. The start and finish lines are conveniently located at Fleet Feet Clemmons at 6339 Jessie Lane.
