Mission Run in the Ozarks

This community-focused event offers distances for every runner, including a challenging 26.2M marathon, a scenic 13.1M half marathon, and a spirited 5K, with all proceeds supporting the Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church's Kenyan T.E.A.M. missions. The course itself promises a "challenging yet adventurous" experience, winding through the streets and highways of Mountain View and Stone County with significant hilly terrain. Expect "roller coaster roads" featuring steep uphills and downhills, with one runner describing the marathon as the "hillest" they'd encountered outside of the Pikes Peak Marathon. While demanding, the rolling Ozark Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop throughout your run. Typical race day conditions in late March include comfortable highs around 66°F and lows around 39°F, with a modest 17% chance of precipitation.

The race kicks off at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church, culminating in a triumphant finish at the vibrant Stone County Court Square.
