Mohegan Striders 4-Miler at Sneekers

Lace up for the fourth annual Mohegan Striders 4-Miler at Sneekers, a vibrant road race set to unfold on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, in the charming town of Groton, CT. This scenic 4-mile course, hosted by the long-standing Mohegan Striders club, offers an engaging experience for runners of all levels. Kicking off at 9:30 AM, participants can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 80F and lows near 64F, accompanied by a low 11% chance of precipitation.

The race begins and ends at the EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, conveniently located just 0.1 miles west of Sneekers Cafe. Runners will find an aid station offering water around the 2-mile mark to keep hydrated, with snacks available at the finish line to refuel. This event stands out as it also serves as the USATF CT 4 Mile Championship for 2025-2026, promising a competitive edge for those vying for top honors.

Beyond the course, the Mohegan Striders 4-Miler offers fantastic perks and a lively atmosphere. The first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative race T-shirt.
