Runners can choose their challenge: the "challenging" 9-mile course or a "flat and fast" 4-mile route, both on paved roads, starting and finishing amidst the picturesque scenery of Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm. With typical race day conditions boasting highs around 67°F and lows around 44°F, and only an 18% chance of precipitation, the weather is often ideal for a memorable run.

What truly sets the Molten Mohawk Niner apart is its vibrant celebration of local art and community spirit. After conquering your chosen distance, the festivities truly begin at the finish line. Runners will gather around giant bonfires, socializing while watching talented artists from Mohawk Steel and Glass Co. create stunning works of art from glass and metal. This "ARTastic event" has garnered a 5-star rating from past participants, with reviews praising the "best after race party" and excellent organization.

Every finisher is rewarded with a custom glass-blown race medal crafted by Mohawk Steel and Glass, a signature MM9R race shirt (available in short or long sleeve), a signature MM9R pint glass with a "BEER BRULEE'", warm beverages, and sweet treats to celebrate your accomplishment.
