Monster Mash & Dash 5K Glow Run

Get ready to glow, dash, and mash at the 4th Annual Monster Mash & Dash 5K Glow Run in Lexington, Kentucky, on Friday, October 9, 2026. This vibrant evening event takes place at the scenic Coldstream Research Park, offering a flat and fast course on paved trail surfaces, perfect for runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels. Participants can choose from a chip-timed 5K (3.1 miles), an untimed 1 Mile Fun Walk, or the FREE Kid's Monster Dash (0.25 miles), ensuring a distance for everyone. Typical race day conditions in early October offer pleasant temperatures, with highs around 72°F and lows around 51°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation.

More than just a race, the Monster Mash & Dash is a luminescent party celebrating community and support. Runners are highly encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit by dressing in their best costumes, with prizes awarded for the best-dressed participants. The excitement continues after the races with music, food, fun, and a lively Trunk or Treat event scheduled for 7:15 PM.
