Montezuma Festival of Races

The Half Marathon course, updated in 2023 for a more "feet friendly" and faster experience, features a captivating blend of mostly paved roads and a few miles of packed dirt trails, allowing participants to explore the unique outskirts of Howland Island and the stunning Wetland Preserve. The 10K, run entirely on paved country roads, also delivers ample scenic beauty. Both races begin and end at the Montezuma Audubon Center. Participants can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 75F and lows around 53F, and an 18% chance of precipitation.
