Experience the magic of a summer evening run at Moonlight Motion, set for Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the vibrant city of Denton, Texas. This unique event invites runners and walkers of all ages to North Lakes Park, offering a choice of a 5K or 1-mile distance, alongside a free 100-200 meter Kid's Dash for the youngest enthusiasts. Embrace the festive atmosphere as you embark on a beautiful evening stroll under the moonlight, providing a refreshing alternative to daytime races. Typical race day conditions in mid-July include highs around 96F and lows near 76F, with only a 7% chance of precipitation, promising a warm but potentially cooler evening experience.

Participants in the 5K and 1M races will be rewarded with a distinctive event-themed finisher medal, with competitive 5K runners having the chance to earn an additional medal for fast finishes.
