Mother's Day REXtravaganza

This uplifting community run offers participants the choice of 3.75, 7.75, or 11.5 miles, all traversing a beautiful looped trail course through historic Clausland Mountain at Nike Park South. Runners will journey through a site once home to a Cold War Nike missile silo, now transformed into a symbol of movement, healing, and peace, providing a powerful backdrop for a run dedicated to mental health, sobriety, and strong hearts.

The Mother's Day REXtravaganza is more than just a race; it's a community gathering focused on compassion, where there are no winners or losers, and everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace and for their own reasons. The looped trail course on Clausland Mountain offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical significance. Two fully manned aid stations will be available along the route to support runners. Organizers are aiming for a relaxed, uplifting vibe at the start/finish area, potentially featuring live acoustic music. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 68F and lows around 49F, with a minimal 15% chance of precipitation.
