Mustard Seed 5K

Lace up for a meaningful morning at the Mustard Seed 5K, returning to Johns Creek, GA, on Sunday, August 2, 2026. This vibrant 5K run/walk takes place at Cauley Creek Park, offering a USATF certified course known for its fast and flat road terrain, making it an excellent opportunity for a personal best or an AJC Peachtree Qualifier. Whether you're a competitive runner, a casual walker, or pushing a stroller, all are welcome to join the uplifting atmosphere that includes music and delicious food. With a prompt 8 AM start, be prepared for typical August conditions with highs around 90F and lows around 70F, and a 16% chance of precipitation.

Beyond the challenge of the 5K, this event holds a deeper purpose, as proceeds benefit Mustard Seed Communities, supporting their vital work with abandoned children with disabilities and marginalized communities in Nicaragua. Participants can look forward to receiving great shirts and awards, celebrating both their accomplishment and their contribution to a worthy cause. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option is also available, allowing everyone to be a part of this inspiring community event. Packet pickup will be offered the day before the race at New Balance Atlanta at Northpoint, as well as on race morning starting at 7 AM at Cauley Creek Park.
