Mythic Race 2026

Prepare for an epic challenge at the Mythic Race 2026, set to ignite the rugged terrain of Sikeston, Missouri, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. This isn't your average run; it's an exhilarating obstacle course race boasting over 25 challenging obstacles packed into a demanding 3.1-mile course. Participants will navigate a variety of formidable tests, from "La Gaffe into Dragon's Back" and technical rigs to carries, walls, and unique elements like a rotating bar rig and archery, designed to push both physical and mental limits. The course is known for its dense layout of obstacles, keeping runners engaged and focused on the next test, with a reputation for being excellent preparation for the OCR World Championships.

Celebrating its 5th year, the Mythic Race offers diverse options for every athlete, including competitive 5K waves, open 5K waves, and an intense 5-hour multi-lap endurance event for those seeking an ultimate test. A dedicated 1.5-mile course is available for children (ages 10-12) to tackle with an accompanying adult, offering a taste of the adventure. All finishers will earn a commemorative medal and shirt, while top performers in competitive and endurance categories, as well as age group winners in the 5K, will receive additional prizes, including distinctive dragon skull medals and banners for champions. The event, held at 105 Cooper Lane in Blodgett, Missouri, proudly supports Heart of the Bride Ministries.
