Mythic Race

The Mythic Race, set for Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Sikeston, Missouri, promises an unforgettable obstacle course experience. This exhilarating 5K (3.1-mile) event, celebrating its 5th year, challenges runners with over 25 formidable obstacles strategically packed into a rugged course located in the Blodgett area at 105 Cooper Lane. Participants can expect to navigate a diverse array of tests, including "La Gaffe into Dragon's Back," technical rigs, carries, walls, a rotating bar rig, and even archery, all designed to push physical and mental limits. The dense layout of obstacles keeps runners engaged, contributing to its reputation as excellent preparation for the OCR World Championships.

Runners can choose from competitive or open 5K waves, with all finishers earning a commemorative medal and shirt. Top performers in the competitive 5K and age group winners receive additional prizes, including distinctive dragon skull medals and champion banners.
