Lace up for the inaugural Navy Ten-Miler Presented by USAA, set to embark on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from the scenic Bayside Park in Chula Vista, California. This event invites runners of all levels—athletes, service members, veterans, and civilians—to come together and celebrate the Navy's core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Participants can choose their challenge from the 10-mile feature race, a 5K, or a 1-mile fun run, all designed to offer an inspiring experience along the San Diego Bay waterfront.
The 10-mile course promises a flat and fast journey with minimal elevation changes, winding along Chula Vista's stunning waterfront and providing breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge and the surrounding coastal areas. Runners will find ample support with hydration stations typically available every 1-2 miles, offering both water and sports drinks to keep energized. Restroom facilities will be conveniently located at the start/finish area and along the course. Expect comfortable typical race day conditions with highs around 66°F and lows around 49°F, and only an 8% chance of precipitation.
More than just a race, the Navy Ten-Miler is a powerful salute to community, resilience, and unity, with proceeds directly benefiting Navy Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) programs that enhance the lives of Sailors and their families. Joining this race means immersing yourself in naval history and patriotism while connecting with a vibrant community. All participants will receive exclusive Navy Ten-Miler swag, making this purpose-driven event an unforgettable addition to your running calendar.
