New 5K Experience

Lace up for an unforgettable adventure at the New 5K Experience, set to illuminate the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. This unique evening event offers both a 3.1-mile 5K and a 1-mile run, perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Runners will have the extraordinary opportunity to traverse the scenic grounds of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo after hours, starting their journey at 8:30 PM EDT, following packet pick-up and online-only registration which opens at 7:00 PM.

Participants will be rewarded for their efforts with a custom race t-shirt, a well-deserved finisher medal, and post-race refreshments to celebrate their accomplishment. What truly sets this race apart is the chance to experience the zoo in a whole new light, with admission included for all registered runners. Spectators wishing to cheer on their loved ones will need to purchase separate online tickets for zoo entry.
