Lace up for the 4th Annual New Body Fitness 5K and 1 Mile, a vibrant community event set to kick off summer in Tipton, Iowa, on Friday, June 12, 2026. This chip-timed race offers both a challenging 5K run/walk and a fun 1-mile Kid's Sprint, providing an enjoyable experience for runners of all ages and abilities. The 5K course is a hard-surface, double-loop journey through Tipton, featuring some engaging hills to test your mettle.
The start and finish lines are conveniently located in front of Niles Chiropractic at 200 E 5th Street, where packet pickup and race day registration will also take place from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Participants in the 5K will earn finisher medals, with awards presented to the top overall male and female runners, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups. Younger runners in the free Kid's Sprint will receive medals for the top three overall boy and girl finishers, and participation ribbons for everyone.
