Ninja 5K and 13.1

Prepare for an invigorating challenge at the Ninja 5K and 13.1, set to take place in Raleigh, NC, on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This dynamic event, organized by US Road Running, offers both a swift 5K and a demanding 13.1-mile half marathon, welcoming runners of all levels to Green Hills County Park. The course features an entirely concrete, out-and-back format, providing a clear and consistent running surface. Half marathon participants will tackle the loop six times to complete their distance, while 5K runners will complete it twice, offering a unique opportunity to break down the race mentally and engage with fellow runners repeatedly.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with historical August highs around 90F and lows around 70F, alongside a 16% chance of precipitation. The race begins at 9:00 AM, with packet pickup available 30 minutes prior, ensuring a smooth start to your morning. Parking is conveniently located at the playground on the north side of the park, where bathrooms are also available.
