The USATF certified and IAU Bronze Labeled course is a looped trail, approximately 1.0024 miles in length, featuring rolling terrain with roughly 65 feet of elevation gain and loss per lap. Runners will navigate a surface predominantly composed of crushed limestone and dirt (93%), with a brief section of asphalt (7%), all while enjoying the park's distinctive rock formations and mature woodland trails. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 65F and lows around 41F, with a 19% chance of precipitation, creating ideal conditions for a prolonged effort.

The O24 is renowned for its supportive environment, where thousands of miles have been conquered and countless personal challenges overcome. A fully stocked main aid station awaits at the start/finish of each loop, offering a variety of sustenance including water, Tailwind Nutrition, sodas, pickle juice, cookies, and more, with hot foods and liquids becoming available from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.
