Osborn MetroPark parkrun

Prepare for a refreshing 5K experience at the Osborn MetroPark parkrun in Huron, OH, on February 14, 2026. The scenic out-and-back course navigates entirely on grass trails, winding through the edges of peaceful woodlands and open prairies, with participants often spotting local wildlife like rabbits, deer, and various bird species along the way. The Osborn MetroPark parkrun is celebrated for its community spirit and unique charm. Runners gather near the Community Gardens, often taking photos atop a distinctive giant honeybee and honeycomb structure, adding to the friendly pre-race atmosphere. Restroom facilities are conveniently located within the Roger Johnson Nature Center or a nearby building. While February 14th might bring typical race day conditions with highs around 35F and lows around 18F, and only a 10% chance of precipitation, some sections of the trail may still hold mud, leaves, or puddles.

After crossing the finish line on the Farm Lane Connector Trail, participants are encouraged to join the post-parkrun coffee gathering at Vine & Olive, a local Mediterranean cafe, where the camaraderie continues and stories from the course are shared.
