Lace up for a cause at the 15th Annual Outpacing Melanoma 5K, set for Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Overland Park, KS. This inspiring event, coinciding with National Lemonade Day, invites runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to join the fight against melanoma with "zest." The course offers a scenic 5K run/walk through the prestigious Corporate Woods Office Park, a USATF-certified route that welcomes both strollers and leashed dogs. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 69F and lows near 50F, with only a 20% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for a memorable morning.

Beyond the scenic course, the Outpacing Melanoma 5K is renowned for its vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. Participants will enjoy a lively post-race celebration complete with lemonade stands, activities for kids and families, face painting, and a bounce house. A special highlight for this milestone 15th anniversary is the introduction of a custom finisher medal for all 5K participants, a first for the event.
