The course features a dynamic blend of technical singletrack, expansive mountainside truck trails, and idyllic paved sections, guiding runners through silent pine forests, past Mount Gleason's treelined ridge, over Mount Hillyer's sandy boulders, and culminating in panoramic 360-degree views of the Angeles National Forest and the vast Mojave Desert.

Runners will begin at an elevation of approximately 5,000 feet, with the majority of the miles unfolding between 5,600 and 7,100 feet. The 50K boasts a substantial 5,621 feet of vertical gain over 31.8 miles, while the Half-Marathon tackles 2,510 feet of ascent. Expect a fully-supported wilderness experience, with the 50K providing nine expert aid station stops, including drop bag access at mile 14.6, and the 21K offering three aid stations.
