Panther Prowl 5K

Lace up your running shoes for the second annual Panther Prowl 5K, set to take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the charming town of McBee, SC. This community-focused 5K race, starting and ending behind McBee High School, offers a refreshing challenge for all skill levels. The course features a mostly flat profile with a few gentle rolling hills, providing an enjoyable experience whether you're aiming for a personal best or a leisurely stroll. As a proud Pee Dee Grand Prix event, the Panther Prowl 5K promises excellent organization and a welcoming atmosphere, all while supporting the McBee High Cross Country Team.

Participants can expect typical race day conditions in late March, with historical highs around 68F and lows around 41F, accompanied by a low 12% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather. The well-marked course will include at least one aid station at the 1.5-mile mark, equipped with water and a trainer for your safety and hydration. Packet pickup and day-of registration will be conveniently located behind McBee High School, with ample parking available in various school lots and access to restrooms inside the high school and at the football field concession stand.
