From there, runners will navigate challenging pinestraw-covered singletrack, cresting a ridge before a flowing descent towards the picturesque Peavine Gorge Overlook. Expect a technical, rocky downhill segment that leads to a creek, followed by narrow, technical singletrack alongside the water. The route then throws in "hands-on rock steps," described as "downright gnarly," as you ascend the gorge, offering breathtaking views of Peavine Falls—the heart of the course. Further creek crossings and a hard scramble up a cliffside trail await, culminating in an extended climb to West Ridge, where the trail finally opens up for a fast, rewarding finish back to the Peavine Falls Parking area.
