PennVet 5K

Lace up your running shoes for the PennVet 5K on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the heart of Philadelphia, PA! This event offers both a classic 5K run/walk and a delightful 1-mile Mutt Strut, ensuring fun for every participant, including your four-legged companions. The course winds through the scenic pathways of Penn Park, providing picturesque views overlooking the Schuylkill River. Typical race day conditions in early May feature pleasant highs around 73°F and comfortable lows near 53°F, with only a 16% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for a memorable race experience.

Beyond the beautiful scenery, the PennVet 5K stands out for its heartwarming cause: supporting the PennVet Class of 2029's "End of Core Event," a significant milestone marking their transition from academic learning to hands-on clinical practice. Runners in the 5K will enjoy professional chipped timing and immediate results, with all participants receiving a commemorative medal upon completion.
