Johnson Education Foundation in conjunction with the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the race is more than just a competition; it's a powerful stride towards supporting scholarships and the Young Men of Distinction (YMOD) mentoring program, which has awarded over $425,000 in college scholarships to date.

The in-person race kicks off from Jay Blanchard Park, a picturesque setting in Orlando known for its inviting paved trails, suggesting a scenic and generally flat course ideal for personal bests or a leisurely walk.
