Set sail for adventure at the Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M in Bel Air, Maryland, on Saturday, April 4, 2026! This thrilling event, kicking off at 8:00 AM EDT from Cedar Lane Regional Park, invites runners of all paces to embrace their inner buccaneer across distances of a 5K, 10K, or a challenging Half Marathon. Expect typical race day conditions around 63°F highs and 45°F lows, with only a 12% chance of precipitation, providing a comfortable climate for your journey.

The Pirate courses offer scenic out-and-back routes designed to keep your adrenaline pumping. The 5K runners will complete a 0.78-mile loop twice, while those tackling the 10K will navigate this same loop four times. For the half marathoners, the challenge intensifies with six rounds of a 1.09-mile out-and-back course. All participants have a generous course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their chosen distance, making it an achievable goal for many.

What makes this race truly unique is its vibrant pirate theme, encouraging runners to don their best costumes and compete for a "Best Costume" award. Every finisher will proudly receive a themed medal to commemorate their accomplishment. As a US Road Running Club Race, this event is also part of the US Road Running Race Series, offering club members a 50% discount on registration.
