Set sail for adventure at the Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M race in Shreveport, LA, taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026! This thrilling event promises a festive atmosphere where runners are encouraged to embrace the pirate theme and compete for the coveted Best Costume award, alongside earning a well-deserved finisher medal. Whether you're a seasoned buccaneer of the half marathon or a swift scallywag tackling the 5K, this race offers a fantastic opportunity for camaraderie and celebration.

The scenic out-and-back course, which showcases the beauty of Caddo, begins and ends at the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza, conveniently located next to the soccer fields. Runners can choose their challenge: the 5K covers one loop, the 10K involves two loops, and half marathoners will complete four loops of the course. With a generous time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, participants have ample time to navigate the course and achieve their goals.

The race kicks off at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup available from 7:30 AM to 7:50 AM. All registrations must be completed online through RunSignup, as on-site registration will not be available. Expect typical race day conditions with highs around 79°F and lows around 57°F, and a 15% chance of precipitation, making for potentially ideal running weather.
