Pirate 5K, 10K, and 13.1

Prepare to set sail for an adventure on land at the Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1, docking in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Saturday, April 4, 2026! This spirited event, part of the US Road Running Race Series, invites runners of all levels to embrace their inner buccaneer while exploring the scenic beauty of Boomer Lake Park. Starting at 8:00 AM CDT from Shelter #3 near the Boomer Park Splash Pad, participants will navigate an out-and-back course around the picturesque lake. The 5K runners will complete one loop, 10K participants will tackle two, and half marathoners will conquer four loops, offering a sustained and engaging challenge for each distance.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with comfortable highs around 71°F and lows around 45°F, with only a 13% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for personal bests or a leisurely jog. This race stands out with its vibrant pirate theme, encouraging participants to don their finest pirate attire for a chance to win the best costume award. All finishers will be rewarded with a unique themed medal to commemorate their accomplishment, alongside some "Pirate Booty" to enhance the festive atmosphere.

Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race, concluding just 10 minutes prior to the start, and remember, all registrations must be completed online as there is no on-site registration. The 5K and 10K distances have a 2-hour time limit, while half marathoners have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their quest.
