Pirate 5K, 10K, and 13.1M

Set sail for adventure at the Pirate 5K, 10K, and 13.1M race in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, April 25, 2026! This thrilling event invites runners of all levels to conquer a scenic out-and-back course that showcases the beauty of Caddo. Participants can choose their challenge: a single loop for the 5K, two loops for the 10K, or four loops to earn their half marathon treasure. The race kicks off at 8:00 AM from the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza, conveniently located next to the soccer fields, which also serves as the start and finish line for all distances.

Prepare for typical race day conditions with historical highs around 79F and lows around 57F, and only a 15% chance of precipitation, making for ideal running weather. All finishers will be awarded a well-deserved medal, and the festive atmosphere is amplified by a "Best Costume" prize, encouraging participants to embrace their inner pirate. With a generous course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, there's ample opportunity to achieve your personal best or simply enjoy the camaraderie.
