Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon

Set sail for an unforgettable running adventure at the Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon in historic Williamsburg, Virginia, on Saturday, April 4, 2026! This exciting event, part of the US Road Running Race Series, offers a unique opportunity to embrace your inner buccaneer while conquering your chosen distance. The race kicks off at 8:30 AM from the Lois Hornsby Middle School, promising a festive atmosphere from the start.

Runners will navigate scenic out-and-back courses through the picturesque landscapes of James City. The 5K completes the route once, the 10K twice, and half marathoners will tackle the course four times, offering a consistent challenge for all skill levels. Typical race day conditions in early April feature pleasant highs around 67F and lows around 44F, with only a 15% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.
