Rhythm Race 5K & Neon Run

Get ready for a vibrant evening of rhythm and glow at the Rhythm Race 5K & Neon Run on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Marysville, Ohio. This exciting event invites runners, walkers, and marchers alike to light up the night while supporting the Marysville Marching Band Programs. Participants will embark on a neon-themed journey through the beautiful parks of Marysville, starting and finishing at the Marysville High School Stadium. The course connects to the scenic Jim Simmons Trail and crosses the Route 33 Pedestrian Bridge, offering a dynamic and engaging experience. What truly sets this race apart is the unique opportunity to be serenaded by the talented Marysville Marching Band as you make your way through the course.

Choose your challenge from the 5K or 1-mile distances, with the main Rhythm Race & Neon Run kicking off at 8:35 PM EDT. Younger participants can join the fun with the "Rhythm Rush," a 100-yard dash for kids under six, starting at 8:30 PM EDT, where all finishers receive a special "Rhythm Rattle." Typical race day conditions in mid-July feature highs around 86°F and lows around 65°F, with a modest 16% chance of precipitation, providing a comfortable evening for this unique event. The first 200 finishers in the main races will be awarded participation medals, and accolades will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners.
