Right to Run

Lace up for a truly inspiring experience at the Right to Run, set against the historic backdrop of Seneca Falls, NY, on May 9, 2026. This unique event is more than just a race; it's a vibrant celebration of women's suffrage, honoring the momentous passing of the 19th Amendment and the trailblazing spirit of the first Women's Rights Convention held in this very town in 1848. Participants can choose between an in-person 5K or a challenging 19K, both winding through charming streets steeped in history and past significant landmarks of the women's movement. The course is designed to be runner and walker friendly, making it accessible to all who wish to be a part of this empowering journey.

Starting and finishing at the iconic National Women's Hall of Fame at 1 Canal Street, runners will be enveloped in an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration. Typical race day conditions in early May offer pleasant weather, with highs around 65°F and lows around 45°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, providing ideal running conditions. Every finisher will receive a commemorative medal, and those who register by April 18th will also earn a limited-edition race t-shirt.
