River's Edge Endurance Challenge

Get ready to experience the 8th Annual River's Edge Endurance Challenge, returning to Brunswick, MD, on September 26, 2026. This popular event offers a thrilling 5K race, inviting runners to explore the scenic River's Edge Trail system. The course begins with approximately one mile on school property before transitioning to the picturesque, newly developed River's Edge Trail. Both the 5K and the longer endurance loops are celebrated for being well-marked, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience amidst scenic views.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 75°F and lows around 53°F, and only a 12% chance of precipitation, providing an ideal climate for a fall race. Beyond the personal challenge, participating in the River's Edge Endurance Challenge contributes to a greater cause; 100% of the race fees are dedicated to supporting the Brunswick High School Track and Field program, helping to purchase much-needed new equipment.
