Rockin' Shamrock 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

Lace up for a festive run at the Rockin' Shamrock 5k, 10k, 15k, and Half Marathon, set to take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in the scenic Woodley Park of Van Nuys, CA. This event, organized by A Better World Running, promises a friendly, relaxed, and personal race experience for runners of all abilities. The course features an easy out-and-back route through Woodley Park, with just one small hill approximately 0.6 miles from the start. As an open course, participants are encouraged to be courteous to other park-goers, including pedestrians and cyclists, as they enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Participants can choose from a 5K (one loop), 10K (two loops), 15K (three loops), or the Half Marathon (three 4.36-mile loops), ensuring a distance for every goal. Aid stations, providing water cups, water bottles, Gatorade, and Gu gels, will be available after every loop to keep runners fueled and hydrated. Race day typically offers pleasant conditions for running, with historical highs around 73°F and lows around 49°F, and only a 7% chance of precipitation.
