Every participant receives a stylish T-shirt and a unique finisher medal to commemorate their accomplishment. The Run Hatteras 5k is a walker, family, and stroller-friendly event, chip-timed for accurate results. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as the first-place male and female in the Youth (14 & under) and Masters (40 & over) categories. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available from 7:00-7:45 AM at the start line, ensuring a smooth start to your exhilarating morning on Hatteras Island.
