The courses are renowned for their flat, paved terrain, making them ideal for those chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a relaxed, scenic run. The Half Marathon features two loops along the boardwalk, heading west from Beach 94th Street, turning around at Beach 124th Street, and returning, offering continuous stunning ocean views. The 5K is a straightforward out-and-back route, also commencing and concluding at Beach 94th Street. While the course is shared with the public and cyclists, the vibrant beachfront atmosphere is enhanced by ample support, including at least four water and Gatorade stops per loop for Half Marathon participants.

Organized by the Rockaway Track Club, this event boasts a low-key, community-friendly vibe that runners appreciate.
