Run the Ridge 5K Run/Walk

Lace up your running shoes for the 32nd annual Run the Ridge 5K Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in North Ridgeville, OH. This cherished community event, presented by the North Ridgeville Lions Club, offers participants a chance to hit the pavement for a fantastic cause: supporting pediatric cancer research. For the younger enthusiasts, a Kid's Fun Run is also part of the day's festivities.

The event kicks off at the North Ridgeville Academic Center / Ranger Stadium, serving as both the start and finish line. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 84°F and lows around 65°F, along with a 14% chance of precipitation, making for a potentially warm but engaging summer race. Participants can look forward to custom finisher medals, custom t-shirts for those registered by the August 1 deadline, and refreshing post-race food and drinks. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age categories.
