Run the Riverwalk

Lace up for the annual Run the Riverwalk, a vibrant 5K event set to take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the charming downtown of Lowell, Michigan. This race offers a scenic and family-friendly route along the beautiful Riverwalk, welcoming runners, walkers, students, and families, with a course that is even stroller-friendly. The 3.1-mile course is designed for all skill levels, making it ideal for both first-time participants and seasoned runners looking for a pleasant outing. Competitive spirits can vie for age group awards, recognizing the top three male and female finishers in various categories, alongside special prizes for the overall top male and female participants. The race kicks off at 8:00 AM EDT, with packet pickup conveniently available the evening before and on race morning, starting at 7:00 AM, at the Lowell Chamber of Commerce located at 113 Riverwalk Plaza. This central location, often near the Lowell Showboat VI, serves as both the start and finish line, immersing participants in the heart of downtown Lowell.
