This popular 5K event invites runners and walkers of all ages to experience the stunning 300+ acre Running Hare Vineyard, a true gem in Maryland known for its beautifully landscaped property and handcrafted wines. The course is designed to be scenic, winding through the vineyard's expansive property, offering breathtaking views that promise to make every stride enjoyable.

As one of the most celebrated and relaxing destinations in the Run the Vineyards series, this chip-timed 5K kicks off at 9 AM, providing a perfect blend of fitness and fun. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 71°F and lows around 49°F, with only a 17% chance of precipitation, ensuring pleasant weather for your run. Participants will receive a high-quality custom race shirt and a souvenir stemless wine glass, with an optional finisher medal available to commemorate their achievement. Packet pickup is conveniently held on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the "Good Day for a Run" tent on site.
