Run to Break the Silence

This isn't just a race; it's an opportunity to become a "Silence Breaker" and directly support the Presbyterian Ear Institute's School for Oral Deaf Education, empowering deaf and hard-of-hearing children to learn to listen and speak.

The 10K course promises an exhilarating experience, guiding runners through an all-terrain cross-country route in the challenging foothills of the Sandia Mountains. Expect varied terrain and rewarding views as you tackle this scenic pathway. Two hydration stations will be available along the course to keep you fueled and refreshed. Both the start and finish lines are conveniently located in the far east parking lot of Sandia Resort & Casino. Typical race day conditions in mid-April include comfortable highs around 72°F and lows around 44°F, with a minimal 2% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.
