Run to Remember 5K

Lace up your shoes for a meaningful journey at the Run to Remember 5K, set for Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Omaha, NE. This impactful event, hosted by the Nebraska Army National Guard, serves as a heartfelt tribute to those who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. The race welcomes participants of all abilities to run, walk, or ruck the course, making it a truly inclusive experience.

The 5K route is a fast and flat road course, offering scenic views around the beautiful Zorinsky Lake Boat Ramp, which also serves as the start and finish line. Race day registration and sign-in begin at 7:00 AM, with the race officially kicking off at 8:00 AM CDT. For those who register early, the first 200 participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and the first 100 finishers will be awarded a medal. Packet pickup is conveniently available the day before at the Nebraska Army National Guard Storefront or on race day starting at 7:00 AM at the race location.
