Run with the Raiders 5K

Lace up your trail shoes for the Run with the Raiders 5K, set to take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Canfield, Ohio. This unique event, hosted at South Range High School, offers a refreshing change from typical road races by utilizing the challenging and engaging South Range cross country course on school property. Runners will navigate varied terrain, embracing the natural undulations and surfaces characteristic of a true cross-country experience.

The Run with the Raiders 5K is more than just a race; it's a community fundraiser with all proceeds directly benefiting the South Range Cross Country program. Participants can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 82°F and lows around 58°F, accompanied by a 16% chance of precipitation, creating a dynamic late summer atmosphere. The evening starts with a 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run at 6:30 PM, followed by the main 5K event at 7:00 PM EDT, both kicking off and concluding at the high school stadium located at 11300 Columbiana Canfield Rd.

Runners in the 5K will receive a commemorative finisher medal and an event shirt, while young participants in the Kids Fun Run also earn a participation medal. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners, and the event also features raffle baskets, adding to the festive atmosphere.
