Taking place on March 8, 2026, in the scenic Washington Park, this iconic road race offers a festive 7K distance for runners, alongside a 2-Mile Leprechaun Leap option. Runners can expect a course with some hills, winding through the beautiful park, providing a pleasant backdrop for your Irish-themed jog. Typical race day conditions in early March bring crisp air, with highs around 53F and lows near 25F, and a minimal 3% chance of precipitation, making for ideal running weather.

Established in 1988, the Runnin' of the Green has earned its reputation as Denver's "favorite Irish-themed run" and the unofficial kick-off to the local running season.
