Join a vibrant community of runners at Ryan's Run, taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in McAlester, Oklahoma. This inspiring event offers participants the choice of a 5K or a 1-Mile Fun Run, catering to all ages and fitness levels. The race kicks off and concludes at the Jackie Brannon Correction Center, providing a central and accessible start/finish location.

Ryan's Run is more than just a race; it's a heartfelt fundraiser for Ryan's House Child Advocacy Center. This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing crucial support and trauma-informed services to children impacted by abuse, honoring the memory of Ryan Luke, whose story inspired the center's founding. Participants contribute directly to a vital mission, fueling an electric atmosphere filled with anticipation, laughter, and a profound sense of purpose. The 5K is a USATF Certified course and is professionally chip-timed by I:40 Race Service, ensuring accurate results. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each 5K age group, with trophies for the overall top three male and female participants.

Typical race day conditions in early April feature pleasant weather, with highs around 73°F and lows near 49°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running conditions. As a Choctaw Nation PACE Sponsored Event, Ryan's Run also welcomes participants signing up through the PACE program. Packet pickup is conveniently available on Thursday and Friday before the race at Ryan's House, and on race day starting at 6:30 AM at the event site.
