Sacred Heart Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Lace up your running shoes and embrace the festive spirit at the 14th Annual Sacred Heart Shamrock Shuffle 5K on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in picturesque Havertown, PA. This popular community event offers a welcoming 5K run for participants of all levels, tracing a "fast and flat" course through the charming streets of Havertown. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 49°F and lows near 30°F, along with a 14% chance of precipitation, making for invigorating early spring running. Strollers are welcome, ensuring the entire family can enjoy the event.

Beyond the scenic course, the Sacred Heart Shamrock Shuffle 5K is known for its lively atmosphere and commitment to a great cause. Expect a special appearance by Sacred Heart's Lucky Leprechaun, alongside post-race refreshments and entertainment featuring live Irish music and dancers to celebrate your accomplishment. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top male and female runners, with awards also going to the top two finishers in each age group. All proceeds from the event directly support the improvement and growth of Sacred Heart School.

The race kicks off at 11:00 AM EST from Sacred Heart School, following the National Anthem at 10:00 AM and a Kids Dash at 10:30 AM. For convenience, race bib and shirt pickup is available the evening before, Friday, March 6th, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Everett Hall (Sacred Heart Church), or on race day from 9:45-10:15 AM. Bathrooms are available for participants.
