Sanctity of Life 5K

Lace up your running shoes for the inspiring Sanctity of Life 5K, taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Hickory, NC. This 5K event offers a wonderful opportunity to hit the pavement while supporting a meaningful cause, with half of the proceeds benefiting the Pregnancy Care Center of Catawba County and the other half going to Fostering Hope Catawba Valley. Starting at 9:00 AM from Hickory Christian Academy, located at 3260 6th St Dr NW, this uplifting event welcomes both runners and walkers. Participants can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 57°F and lows around 36°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, making for potentially brisk but invigorating running weather. As a special incentive, the first 150 registered runners will receive a stylish long-sleeve shirt to commemorate their participation.
