SARR Freedom Day Run-4-Miler, 2-Miler & Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run

Celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic stride at the SARR Freedom Day Run-4-Miler, 2-Miler & Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. Hosted by the San Antonio RoadRunners, this traditional event embraces the spirit of "Running=Freedom," encouraging participants to don their most festive red, white, and blue attire. Starting bright and early at McAllister Park, the Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run (400M) kicks off the festivities at 7:00 AM, followed by the chip-timed 4-Miler at 7:15 AM and a non-timed 2-Miler fun run/walk at 7:20 AM.

Runners of all ages and abilities will enjoy a spirited atmosphere, with finisher medals awaiting everyone who crosses the finish line. The event also features post-race food and refreshments, and a costume contest to showcase your patriotic flair. Awards will be presented for the top overall and age group performers in the 4-Miler. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option is also available, allowing you to celebrate freedom on your own course from July 4 to July 25.
