Get ready to paint the town green at the 3rd Annual Shamrock Shuffle | Fleet Feet Springfield on Saturday, March 14, 2026! This vibrant event invites runners and walkers alike to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the heart of Downtown Springfield, Missouri. Choose your challenge from three exciting distances: a 9.3-mile (15K) run, a spirited 3.1-mile (5K) dash, or the unique 1-mile Beer Mile for those 21 and over. All races kick off from Park Central Square, taking participants through the city streets. Typical race day conditions in mid-March offer pleasant weather, with highs around 60°F and lows near 37°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, creating an ideal setting for a festive run.

The Shamrock Shuffle promises a memorable experience, presented by Saucony. The 15K course involves three laps through downtown, while the 5K covers one-third of the 15K route. For a truly distinctive challenge, the Beer Mile dares participants to run four quarter-mile laps, pausing to drink a beer at the start of each lap, with a penalty lap for any competitor who vomits. All 5K and 15K participants will receive a comfy long-sleeve event shirt, and 15K finishers also earn a dazzling medal and two celebratory beers to enjoy at the post-race festivities. Awards, including Fleet Feet gift certificates, are given to overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories for the 5K and 15K, and overall male and female for the Beer Mile.
