The course is a picturesque trail adventure through the Northern State Recreation Area, winding amidst towering Cedar, Douglas Fir, and Spruce trees. You'll traverse charming landscapes, including old pastures with views of surrounding mountains, and cross two handcrafted bridges over Hill Creek. The trails are generally well-maintained and fairly flat, featuring only a few small hills, offering a welcoming challenge without extreme elevation. Both the 10K and 4-mile routes are accurately measured and well-marked, with distinct paths to their respective finish lines. Typical race day conditions for mid-February include highs around 47°F and lows around 35°F, with about a 21% chance of precipitation, creating a brisk and invigorating atmosphere for your run.

Following a traditional mass start at 10 AM, you'll embark on a memorable journey through this beautiful landscape.
