Runners will navigate one of Shreveport's oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods, encountering hilly terrain that provides a satisfying test for participants. Typical race day conditions for early July in Shreveport include highs around 93°F and lows around 73°F, with a 13% chance of precipitation, so prepare for a warm, spirited run.

Beyond the race itself, the Sportspectrum Firecracker 5K offers a festive atmosphere and generous incentives.
